JLBJH live at the Shepherd's Bush Empire

1137.917 kilometres (707.069 miles) is the distance between Barcelona and London and the distance I had to travel to see the concert at the Shepherd's Bush Empire. I can tell you that it was really worth the effort. I did not want to know the setlist in advance so little could I expect such a wonderful selection of songs. These guys really know what their fans want to see. Unlike other bands that have gradually let down their fans with commercial stuff, JLBJH played all (or most of) the songs every fan would dream of. Despite Wooly's voice problems (he managed quite well, though) it was really amazing to see him performing. John Lees was great as usual and so was the rest of the band. To see them playing live songs such as The Poet/After the day, The great 1974 mining disaster, Suicide, Galadriel or Poor Wages (and ALL the rest!) is almost an overdose of fantastic music. There's little more to say; those of you who have not seen them yet, please do anything to attend a show. You will never regret it. I look forward to the DVD and hope no songs will be discarded. I want it complete!
